Chicago Global Center
This 800,000-square-foot mixed-use development combines commercial, educational, technology, and research functions at the base with an adjacent iconic hotel and apartment tower. The design draws inspiration from an ancient spiral tower form and is a modern interpretation of that geometry. The Center will use the income from hotel and apartment operations to support local cultural and educational activities. Designed at Perkins & Will, Aki Z. Knezevic AIA, Principal-In-Charge, Structural concept by David Weihing PE SE, Senior Principal at Thornton Tomasetti
