Mickey has led many award-winning projects across various building types, including large, complex programs that require the leadership of numerous team members and multiple contributors.  Her projects have included an airport expansion, large hotels, office towers, a vertical college campus, and research laboratories.  She is dedicated to delivering excellence by incorporating building program requirements into a clear strategic direction and design concepts.  As a senior leader at the firm, she oversees design quality and ensures the team delivers on time and within budget.

Mickey's lifelong dedication to sustainable design is a cornerstone of her work.  As a LEED-accredited professional, she is a vocal advocate for sustainable design principles and actively promotes the use of native plants and trees. Her passion for the environment is evident in her work and her efforts to inspire others to consider the environmental impact of building.  In addition to her focus on sustainable design, Mickey has a keen interest in the effects of zoning on our cities and towns.  Her years of service on the planning commission and zoning board have given her valuable insights into the challenges of urban growth.

Mickey holds a Bachelor of Architecture with High Honors and a Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.  She also studied architecture at the École des Beaux-Arts in Versailles, France.
